When I decided that I wanted to display my television on the wall I had to make a decision as to what type of TV bracket I was going to use. My question to myself was, how would I be using my television? Would I be sitting mostly in the same general area every time? Would I want to watch it from different areas of the room?

Flat TV Brackets.

TV brackets that are flat mounting are the easiest to install and the least expensive. They are extremely secure. If installed correctly you will not have to fret about your television falling off the wall. Flat mount TV brackets come in sturdy, low profile designs, adding a very elegant touch to the room.

Tilting TV Brackets

The tilting TV brackets have an added advantage of being able to swivel into several directions. The tilt angle can be adjusted to fit your viewing needs. Of course along with the functionality of this design, the TV bracket is usually thicker than the flat TV brackets. They also stand out from the wall further.

It wasn’t a tough decision for me. I usually sit in the same location when I watch television, and I really adore the look of a flat screen TV mounted on the wall as if it where a picture.
