Now that HDTV televisions are becoming very affordable, the challenge becomes how to mount them. Brackets and clamps need to bear weight hardly for the value they support. Shallow wall mounts for sets less than two inches deep can mean extremely robust reinforced brackets that ground sets in their housings, especially at angled or swivel mount. A previously ‘circuit only’ cabled monitor like a high quality home media monitor comes now with self -tuning capability as well as increased efficiency power supply and backlighting improvement and optional extended settings. Lcd TV Brackets must be strong enough to handle the heavy use a family entertainment TV gets as well as display reproductive quality images with reality level clarity.

When television first came out, there was no need for any installation. Sets were extremely heavy, oversized, and simply sat on the floor. But today’s new models are thin and lightweight, allowing easy installation on any wall in the home. These things are often overlooked by the customer buying the model, and they fail to consider the additional cost of installation and TV brackets. Here are a few things to consider when searching for the perfect TV brackets for your new set:

1. Warranty. If purchasing a new television, it is advisable to also buy an extended warranty. Ask the salesperson exactly what is covered as well as the price. It is important to have a thorough understanding of these things before making your purchase. Sometimes installation is included so you will not have to worry about labor, only the cost of the TV brackets themselves. This can also be helpful if doing your own installation, as you may be able to replace your television from free if it gets damaged in the set-up process.

2. Size. The size of your television is extremely important, as this determines what type of brackets you will be buying. Be sure to measure the space you plan on putting your TV in before you go to make your purchase. The brackets are usually sold according to the size of your television, so once you know the size of the space you are putting it in you will be able to figure all this out.

3. Mobility. Is your new television going to simply lie flat against the wall or will you need to be able to adjust it? There are several ways this can be done. Some people actually have a hole in their wall where the television will sit. The TV brackets mounted inside this hole allow the television to be turned 360 degrees so it can be viewed in one of the rooms at a time. Others have arms which extend out and allow the television to tilt in any direction necessary. This is the most popular, and works really well in open living spaces.

Whatever you decide for your TV brackets, the three considerations listed above are a wonderful starting point. Make sure to address any questions you have to the appropriate salesperson or installer before making your decision. And when doing your own installation, you have the freedom to go to any source and compare prices before purchasing your brackets. Imagine your television in your new space. Don’t forget to make all aesthetic considerations like color, design and style as well. Don’t buy a silver television for an all-black room. Match your components, and don’t forget to consider the furniture, too. Never hesitate to go to many places before making your decision. The purchase and installation of a new television is one of the most important decisions you will make for your home. Make sure that you have a full understanding of the process. There are tons of resources on the internet to help you make an informed decision.

TV wall brackets are enormously useful, and here are ten of the best things about them.

1. By using a wall bracket, you can place your screen almost anywhere in the room. This is great news if there’s a perfect viewing location but you couldn’t use a desktop stand or cabinet because there’s something on the floor beneath which you can’t move.

2. Some brackets are specially designed so to fold back so that your screen sits completely flush to the wall. This creates an amazing look when you are watching your screen, but means it’s much less visually obstrusive when it’s switched off.

3. Many TV wall brackets are easy to adjust, meaning they are suitable for a wide range of screens. So while you still have the option of getting one produced by your screen’s manufacturer – and often these look best – you aren’t always forced to buy their product, whatever the price.

4. Whatever size your screen, there’s sure to be a bracket to match. Many TV wall brackets can cope with a wide range of sizes so you’ll be sure of a good fit, plus there’s one less thing to worry about if you later upgrade to a bigger screen.

5. If you’ve spent a lot of money on a great-looking TV, you may well have co-ordinated the colour with your other audio-visual equipment. The good news is that many TV wall brackets now come in a range of colours so you are sure to get one that matches your set-up.

6. Many TV wall brackets have built-in cable management, and even if your choice doesn’t, you can get specially designed solutions relatively cheaply. This means you can hide away the cables which run from your wall-mounted TV in a discreet way. Some cable covers are even paintable so you can match them to your wall colours to make them even less noticeable.

7. A decent TV wall bracket may be cheaper than you think. While you can spend a lot of money on a top-notch model, there’s a wide variety of prices and some offer excellent value with skimping on quality or performance.

8. Most screens allow you to tilt or swivel your screen without much effort. That’s ideal if you’ve got large windows and get shadows at certain times of the day. It’s also very handy if you’ve got an open-plan kitchen and want to be able to see the screen perfectly while cooking dinner.

9. If you really want to splash the cash, there are even motorized TV wall brackets. You can use a remote control to move your screen about and even rotate it as much as 180 degrees. That may sound like a flashy gimmick – and it’s certainly flashy – but it can be very handy if the most convenient place to mount the TV is somewhere other than the ideal viewing location.

10. Some brackets even have shelves built underneath which can safely hold your other equipment while still looking attractive. Just imagine never having to get down on your hands and knees to change DVDs again!

I would like to provide you with some valuable information if you are thinking about using TV brackets to mount a television to the wall.

You will need to make sure you find a TV bracket and mount that is right for your television. Most displays are compatible with and follow the VESA standards. You can check your television’s owner manual for VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association). Followed by the word VESA you should see a number. This number tells you how far apart the holes for the bracket are in millimeters. You can also measure the holes yourself to figure out which VESA standard will work for your TV. TV brackets and mounts are often compatible with more than one VESA standard, so it will not be hard to find the one that matches up with your TV.

It’s very important to make sure your TV bracket will hold the weight of your television. Double check the maximum weight listed.

You should decide what you want the TV bracket to be capable of. There are lots of options. Being able to swivel the TV left or right can be helpful if you have glare from the sun coming into the room at any point in the day. A bracket that allows the TV to be moved slightly up or down on the wall is great just in case you don’t have it set in just the right spot while hanging it.

Planning out the project before you start is the best approach. As long as you have the right TV bracket, a few handy tools and an extra pair of arms, you should be able to do the job in just a few hours.

Here are some thoughts on installing your flat screen TV on your home or office wall. I have completed this process many times. In fact I have become somewhat of an expert. I usually get the call from friends or family when they want a flat screen hung. Really it is very simple and quick. Try it. You just might enjoy.

Flat screen TV’s offer a household wonderful entertainment for family and friends. The quality of the pictures are getting better year after year. To be able to hang your television on the wall using TV brackets, adds a great addition to the home.

But are you comfortable doing the job yourself? Whether you can do the job yourself or not depends on your handyman skills. Are you comfortable hanging a picture or mounting shelves? How about tools? Some of the tools used to mount a TV bracket along with your flat screen TV are as follows:

Power drill

Level

Stud Finder

Pencil

Measuring tape

Screwdriver (preferably power screwdriver)

The next thing you need to ask yourself is are you comfortable with routing the cables inside your wall. If you are comfortable or familiar with installing new light fixtures or phone lines, patching and repairing drywall or touching up paint, then you will probably be fine. Basically, you just need to be somewhat handy around the house.

You will also need someone to help you lift the television up onto the TV mount once everything is in place. They can be very heavy and awkward.

When you are done mounting your TV bracket and have your display hung I think you will be quiet pleased with how nice a living room or office looks with a mounted television.
